The logo reflects a desire to help build healthy sustainable businesses and organisations through positive interconnectivity with their clients. The ‘seedhead’ represents community connection and information.
In nature, one seed is a perfectly organised unit; it is packed with all the information it needs to grow successfully and to reach its full potential. It’s focused on what it does best and contains only what it needs and nothing more.
Childsplay’s CEO, Pam Maclean contracted Seedhead to redesign a fun eco-style logo for her existing childcare consultancy business. After determining her client based were adults not children, Seedhead completely changed Pam’s original designs from kindergarten style to something more elegant, yet still youthful. Pam’s product differentiation were natural playground landscape and equipment designs, so nature was important element in her branding.
Mooloolaba Beach Pharmacy
This family-owned pharmacy was transitioning from their association with the Information Health Pharmacy brand into something new. Seedhead redesigned their brand to suit their family-based clientele. This included corporate identity and a new shop fit-out. A new byline was born ‘healthy and safe beside the sea’, triggering youthful memories when we were healthy and happy. A beach umbrella represents ‘safety’ ‘beach’ and ‘family’. The colors aqua and white, reflect the ocean and help create the desired calm clean atmosphere inside the pharmacy. A gradient background is used to emulate the sea, along with a sea vector pattern that is used for signage and within headings.
Although BRIO Engineering caters to a wider field, CEO Vince Kelly’s Engineering main business and passion is hydroelectricity. Vince had always loved the famous Japanese Print ‘The Great Wave off Kanagawa’ by Japanese artist Hokusai, which seemed to be a symbolic fit for Vince’s organisation. A powerful stylised wave became BRIO’s identity along with some key colours from the ukiyo-e print. Hurtmold, a square structured yet modern font, was chosen for BRIO’s font face to denote the exacting requirements of engineering.
Range Community Gym
Being a community gym, connection and collaboration were all important. The font is clean, happy rounded and open.
